AI video clipping, rebuilt for 2026

One long video.
Ten clips that hook.

Clypt finds the moments that stop the scroll, reframes them vertical, captions every word and puts them on every platform — while you record the next episode.

How it works

From a two-hour recording to a week of posts, before your coffee cools.

  1. 01

Drop a link or a file

YouTube, Vimeo, Drive, Zoom, a raw MP4 — anything up to 10 GB and several hours long.

  2. 02

    We listen, then read

Speech becomes a word-timed transcript. ClipSense scores every candidate window against what actually performs on feeds.

  3. 03

Ten clips land in your library

Reframed vertical, captioned, loudness-normalised, ranked by Hook Score. Edit any word, retrim, re-render in a click.

  4. 04

    Ship on your schedule

Queue them across your accounts, or hand the whole thing to the API and never open the dashboard again.

What you get

Everything between “export” and “posted”, handled.

ClipSense™ moment finding

Reads the whole transcript, not just the loud bits. Scores every window on hook, payoff, emotion, pacing and whether it stands alone. Steer it with a prompt: "only the pricing objections".

Hook Score with a breakdown

A single 0–100 number you can trust, and the five sub-scores behind it so you know why a clip earned it — and what to fix when it did not.

Face-locked reframe, split-screen for two

A neural face detector keeps the speaker centred in 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5, easing like a camera operator. Two people on camera? They get stacked, each tracked on their own.

Word-by-word captions with a title card

Four caption styles burned in with your fonts and colours, active-word pop, numbers and power words in the accent colour, and the hook as a title card over the open.

Cut by deleting words

Strike a word in the transcript and it is gone from the video and the audio, captions re-timed. One click strikes every filler. Auto-zoom punches in on the numbers and power words that are left.

Captions in 29 languages, copy for 5 platforms

Burn in Spanish captions timed to an English voice. Then let it write a YouTube title, a TikTok caption, a LinkedIn post and a tweet that match what was actually said.

Silence, filler and profanity surgery

Dead air and "um, like, basically" get cut from the clip itself with captions re-timed. Profanity gets a bleep and a star-out. Speech enhancement levels a quiet guest.

Autopilot from your channel

Point Clypt at a YouTube channel and every new upload is clipped before you have finished your coffee. No OAuth dance, no API quota.

Ship it your way

Auto-schedule a whole project, one a day, best first. Watch the view counts come back. Download everything as a zip with SRTs. Or export a Premiere / Resolve timeline and finish in your editor.

Your brand on every frame

Your font, your colours, your logo in the corner, your handle on an end card. Caption position and size to taste. 4K if you want it.

Hook Score

A number you can argue with.

Most tools hand you a “virality score” and a shrug. Clypt shows its work: five sub-scores, each with a plain-English reason, so your team can disagree with the machine on purpose instead of by accident.

  • HookDoes the first line stop a thumb?
  • StandaloneCan a stranger follow it cold?
  • PayoffDoes it land, or trail off?
  • EmotionStakes, numbers, superlatives.
  • FlowSpeech density and dead air.

Clip 03

“Nobody tells you the first 90 days cost more than year one”

86
  • Hook91

Opens with a number and a contradiction.

  • Standalone84

    No back-reference to earlier context.

  • Payoff78

Ends on a full stop with a “so” beat.

  • Emotion72

    Two superlatives, one dollar figure.

  • Flow88

    2.9 words/sec, 0.4s dead air.

Developer API

Wire it into the pipeline you already have.

Two endpoints. Submit a video, poll for clips. Every field the dashboard exposes is a JSON key, so a publish-on-upload workflow is an afternoon, not a quarter.

Got questions?

What kind of videos work best?+

Anything with people talking: podcasts, interviews, webinars, keynotes, coaching calls, vlogs, live streams. Music videos and silent footage have no speech to clip around, so we skip those.

Which languages are supported?+

Transcription covers 30+ languages with word-level timing. Moment finding and hook writing work in any language the transcript is in.

What does a credit buy?+

One credit is one minute of source video analysed. A 60-minute podcast costs 60 credits and yields as many clips as you asked for. Re-rendering or re-editing clips is free.

Can I use my own fonts and colours?+

Yes — brand kits set caption font, highlight and accent colours, and a logo. Pro and above can keep several kits for different shows or clients.

Is there an API?+

Pro and Business plans get REST access. Submit a URL, poll for status, download the rendered files. Perfect for wiring Clypt to your CMS or a Zapier flow.

Is it free?+

Free gives you 60 credits a month with a small watermark. Paid plans remove it, unlock every aspect ratio and add publishing.

Your next ten posts are already recorded.

Let Clypt go find them.
